Position Summary:
l The role is responsible for effective provisioning , installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
l He/she will assist project teams (both in Great China region and coordination with corporate IT) with technical issues in operation
l Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
l Based on expert skills, provide training and leadership on the installation, configuration, and management of the service operation
l Lead cross-functional team efforts to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks and make performance related recommendations (hardware, software, configuration) in the virtual environment
Create run book and other supporting configuration documentation.
Main Tasks:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Daily maintain and support (2nd or 3rd level) the company IT infrastrcutre system including ca-bling, networking, telecommunication, PCs, printers, etc
Ensure backup work properly
Support all infrastructure projects in Great China region
Member of workplace team to support all related operations and projects in APAC region
Support CSE team to make all IT devices compliance
Other IT responsibilities as assigned by line manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree and above in Information Technology or Computer Science or other related field.
5+ years of IT service management and process implementation experience
2+ years’ technical experience with VMware
4+ years’ server and network administration experience.
3+ years’ ITSM process experience.
Must be able to analyze and problem solve complex technical issues with minimal supervision
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to flex with changing priorities
Cloud knowledge
Good interpersonal skills and English speaking
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
