Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Admin (Contractor)

Location: Shenzhen


Primary Responsibilities:

Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop, or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access by coordinating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting incoming employee calls worldwide. Responsible for timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Provides case status updates to management and end-users. Supports and maintains effective relationships with users. Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.


General Requirements:

Requires strong inter-personal and communication skills along with the ability to multi-task and solve problems independently. Able to interact with all levels of management and people with different styles. Strong customer focus is essential.


Typically requires no previous professional experience. Knowledge base generally acquired from a college degree or equivalent course training. Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Follows standard practices and specific, outlined, and detailed procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Normally receives detailed instructions on work, which is reviewed regularly by manager or more senior peers. Builds routine working relationships internally. Contacts are primarily with direct manager and other peers in the group or department.
