Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the first tier helpdesk support via telephone, email and desktop support;
  • Solving IT problems for users or escalate problem to appropriate level support parties;
  • Maintaining backup log, systems check log, inventory and maintenance records of computer equipment and filing of documents;
  • Performing user account administration such as new account setup, password resets, mailbox setup;
  • IT event setup and on-site supporting;
  • Managing loan of computer equipment to users;
  • Installing hardware, software and automation tools;
  • Assisting in system administration and IT security;
  • Performing various testing such as unit test, system test, integration test and updating system documentation whenever necessary
  • Windows 10 desktop management and physical /virtual desktop deployment.

Job Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or IT or related discipline
  • At least 2 years' experience in supporting Microsoft Windows , PC LAN and helpdesk
  • At least 2 years' experience in supporting OES e-directory service administration and system backup operation
  • Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is an added advantage:
    • Lotus Notes Mail
    • Networking
    • Desktop management
    • Novell Open Enterprise Server OES
    • eDir directory service
    • VMware horizon virtual desktop management and
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, independent and capable to work under pressure.
  • HK Permanent Resident is required
