Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for CGP employees seeking technical assistance onsite, over the phone or email
  • Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Follow up with colleagues to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by Operation Manager


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Proficiency in English is a MUST
  • E xcellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
