Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for CGP employees seeking technical assistance onsite, over the phone or email
- Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Follow up with colleagues to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Additional responsibilities as requested by Operation Manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Proficiency in English is a MUST
- E xcellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
