You will become an integral member of the Healthineers IT Team providing 1st & 2nd level support & project support (including bespoke application support) to our customers. This role is a home-based role, providing support remotely anywhere in the UK. The role reports into the Customer Services IT Operations Manager. Responsibilities: Be an authoritative reference on designated Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics and or OEM IT products, network protocols and network architecture To form and be part of small project teams to survey, plan and execute the installation and implementation of tendered SHDL and or OEM IT products and solutions Create site specific documentation to detail Informatics solution and milestones To participate in, and lead where appropriate, activities providing support to new customers and colleagues, including troubleshooting, parts dispatch, and escalation procedures To work with customers, System Implementation, Automation teams and external contractors to ensure that tendered solution meet the customer’s expectations in terms of performance and integration into the Laboratory Information and Workflow Management systems Ensure that performance and integration into the Laboratory Information and Workflow Management systems is achieved To maintain all specified equipment at the latest revision status by planning and implementing updates and modifications as required To ensure that relevant ITIL framework objectives are met, i.e. Incident Management / Change Management Skills & Experience: A Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject Relevant and demonstrable experience in a technical role within the diagnostics or IT industry Experience of middleware & software solutions An awareness of - Software/specific designated product operating system Software/networking protocols found within the Health Service environment Software/Microsoft operating systems, the Microsoft Office Suite, Network applications Software/Mainframe LIMS found within the Health Service environment/basic principles ITIL framework Being part of our team: Siemens Healthineers is a leading medical technology company with a 170-year legacy of first-to-market technologies and product innovations.
