Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support in a complicated infrastructure environment consists of different technology domains which includes, but not limited to, server virtualization, server OS, database, Storage Area Network, system monitoring, as well as backup and data protection
• Perform server OS and system installation and configuration, system patching, test and commissioning, as well as disaster recovery drill
• Prepare and maintain documentation in related to supported the infrastructure, servers, systems, applications, projects, inventory, regulatory requirements and compliance
• Perform troubleshooting and problem diagnosis, problem resolution, root cause analysis and identification, maintain and assure quality change control
• Perform system and application performance monitoring, analysis and tuning
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal users and external vendors in support of company initiatives
• Evaluate new technologies and products, prepare and conduct presentation as when required

Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant support and implementation experience in large-scale IT infrastructure or enterprise class companies
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Professional qualification on ITIL and PMP will be an advantage
• Hands-on experience in implementation and support of at least 2 of the following areas will be an advantages:
  – EMC SAN storage, e.g. VNX and UNITY
  – VMware ESXi, NSX, vROPs
  – Microsoft Windows server 2012/2016
  – Microsoft SQL server 2012/2016
  – RedHat LINUX, CentOS
  – Veritas NetBackup
  – Microsoft System Centre SCOM, SCCM
  – SolarWinds SAM, VMAN, SRM, DPA, APM
• Hong Kong Perm Citizen is preferred
