IT Technician in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 497187) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ experience relevant to information technology and multi-media, preferably within the context of an education institution or educationally related organization. They should have hands-on experience in using video editing software and hardware; and sound knowledge in Chroma key compositing and E-Learning to support the implementation of E-Learning initiatives, coordinate E-Learning support and facilitate the use of technology to support teaching activities. A good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua) as well as a good level of communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. The appointee should be self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure. He/She will provide IT and administrative support to the development of E-Learning and multimedia interfaces and good practices for the Faculty’s education programmes and related research projects.
