The transition manager is responsible to review and signoff the transition/transformation plan and to govern transition/transformation across the lifecycle. It includes release and deploy management, CMDB compliance, and supplier on/off boarding activities, transformation project management.
1 TAF service transition management
• Review and ensure the transition plan and support management process is fit for purpose and performed as designed
• Ensure process description meets objectives
• Make recommendations for service improvement plans
• Make sure the best practices, experiences and knowledge are transferred to TAF partner properly
2 TAF transformation management
• Project management of TAF Transformation related projects, activities.
• Review and approve release plan for deployment and ensure planning of pilot test phases in test environments
• Deliver compilation, build and test results into evaluation predicted performance report
• Ensure adherence to the release documentation for quality assured documentation
• Structure and control test environments
• Coordinate with all support teams to onboard providers and walk through on tools, policies and procedures used for onboarding
• Ensure the CMDB provides accurate and up to date information through audits
• Ensure all service asset and configuration processes are performed as designed
• Ensure linkage readiness between infrastructure CIs and application is up to date
3 Supplier management
• Monitor the performance of the partners, the fulfillment of the contractual obligations and the achievement of the committed financial objectives
