Contract Term: Two years renewable from mid-August 2020

An exciting and yes slightly unusual opportunity has arisen to teach in the international primary at FIS. We are seeking an inspirational and energetic teacher to teach both IT and PE, as a blended role, in the International Primary Stream. You will work alongside the PE teacher and IT teacher to deliver the English National Curriculum to primary students of different age groups. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of academic success, innovation and development throughout their career. The post will increase in hours over the next few years. 

We are seeking teachers who will:

• Have a deep knowledge and experience of the English national curriculum 
• Hopefully have some knowledge or experience of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) /International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) or the IB PYP
• Have knowledge of using Google Suite Applications, experience in Google Chromebook and iPad management as well as skills in programming
• An adaptable individual who has a broad understanding of fundamental movements and experience teaching games for understanding
• Be well qualified with an internationally accepted degree and teaching qualification;
• Be a dynamic, forward-looking professional with the experience and skills to contribute to the primary school; 
• Be an outstanding teacher who is passionate about learning and teaching and sets high expectations for every student; 
• Be able to work collaboratively with a team of teachers;
• Be internationally-minded and culturally sensitive;
• Be committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement;  
• Have experiences/knowledge of bilingual teaching and learning;
• Have some basic knowledge of French would be an advantage;
