Bentley Systems is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to become a valued member of our successful team. The IAM Engineer is responsible for providing assistance with the direction and health of the IAM program. This includes supporting a wide variety of IAM related tasks for consumers of Bentley Cloud Services with the capability to support cloud and on-premise application services. This will require interaction with potential or current users of our Cloud Services. This person will participate as an effective member of a passionate, highly skilled, collaborative team that supports Bentley Information Security policies and meets all relevant compliance requirements.
Location: This role is remote, based from a home office in the US
Your Day-to-Day:
• Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Bentley Information Security requirements.
• Participates in the enhancement process for the IAM program.
• Performs duties related to the full identity lifecycle.
• Develops enterprise wide policies for IAM.
• Consults with business units when implementing changes for new systems.
• Consults with potential and current users of Bentley services to set up and maintain federated connections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring to The Team:
• 2+ years of direct experience in IAM (ADFS, Azure AD, Ping Identity, OKTA)
• 2+ years of direct customer support experience, preferably in a professional services setting
• Experience creating and maintaining IAM solutions designed for high-volume consumer interactions with products and services.
• Ability to represent the Bentley IAM program and effectively communicate with our international partners
• Demonstrated understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Occasional availability for an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response
• Ability to learn new concepts and provide solutions in a dynamic business environment
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

• Knowledge dealing with inbound/outbound SAML/OIDC based federations
• Knowledge dealing with OAuth 2.0
