Implementation Project Manager Reports into and supports the Digital & Automation / Digital Health and Enterprise Imaging IT team with the completing a broad scope of technical tasks including installation/commissioning, maintenance, and evaluation of customer’s equipment and systems (hardware, software – Syngo and Digital Health) among others. Overall responsible for the successful Implementation of all Siemens Healthineers healthcare IT related solutions including enterprise imaging (VNA/PACS/CPACS/advanced visualization) and digital health solutions into customer environment (and connect modalities where applicable) Consult with customers on technical solutions, together with Sales Manager or Key Account Manager for the INVIVO Digital & Automation Business (Syngo, Digital Health). Clarify customer’s specification in request for proposal (RFP). Prepare participation in tenders, and lead negotiation with customers. Contribute to or execute activities for estimation, planning, and review of technical tasks in support of overall project acquisition, negotiation, planning and management Be involved in technical design as well as manage sub-contractors and monitor delivery. Ensure optimal performance & efficiency in all process activities related to your area of responsibility Co-ordinate overall planning of the project and decide on allocation of resources. Clarify specification and continuously liaise with accountable Commercial Project Manager Internal. Monitor milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiate actions to minimize non-conformance cost. Maintain constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders. Manage and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff Adhere to PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g., Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS). Manage Health and Safety on Installation sites Also responsible for: Contract Management Adherence to OSH Act Sign-off of QA's Qualifications and Experience · National Senior Certificate, Bachelors pass rate · INVIVO experience in RIS, PACS, VNA, HIS, Imaging /Reading & clinical workflow and Digital Health technologies · PMP certification · Must have 4 to 5 years of Project Management experience (including Healthcare IT and/or digital solutions) · Must possess the ability to communicate cross cultural and mobilise parties to implement solutions · Knowledge on Healthcare sector with 3-5 years of experience in installation, repair and maintenance of healthcare digital IT solutions. · Must have knowledge of networks, operating systems, user administration and basic knowledge of RIS / PACS systems in a Healthcare digital IT environment. · Knowledge of other Healthcare IT products · Healthcare IT Experience is compulsory. · Focus on applying and expanding acquired knowledge base. · Application of knowledge in broader professional context. Experience on the below would be advantageous: · HL7, FHIR · ‘As a service ‘(SaaS, PaaS) · OSH Act · Health and Safety · Risk Management · Networking, Cloud Computing, Platforms, Artificial Intelligence / Data Science experience · Cyber, Information Security experience · Agile Project Management principles Other requirements of the Job Function "Project Manager" Local / Regional Business Projects (small): Facilitates the execution of project/program solution plan for complex projects or programs. Responsible for delivery of complex project/program plans. Supports the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs. Acts as a functional or business process resource on projects or programs. Facilitates execution of continuous improvement plan. May perform active role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities. Higher level: Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts (with clients and service providers). Lower level: Primarily intra-organizational contacts; external contacts occur in the frame of client projects." This role is based in Gauteng region however you will be required to support other regions and countries. You must be available on short notice to travel country wide and to Africa due to operational requirements and on long term projects as well as travel outside of the region to assist nationally. You need to have a valid passport You need to have a valid South African driver’s license. You must not have restrictions to travel within SADC and abroad. You must be able to work overtime during week and weekends as well as on public holidays.
