SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT & IMPORTATION/EXPORTATION

• To communicate and coordinate the shipments with Toronto logistics prior to orders release by Toronto planning team
• To monitor and track all the bulk shipments coming from Toronto or other CG entities
• To handle all the non-bulk shipments following the instruction
• Effective coordination with the coming shipments before any long holidays to avoid any shipments waiting at China customs and pay higher costs
• To prepare custom clearance docs and to work with Toronto and CG suppliers that making sure the most accurate doc provided to customs broker
• To monitor and guide CG broker during importation declaration to make sure CG is fully compliant with relevant China custom regulations
• To ensure import tax and payment to foreign seller are timely and sufficient
• To maintain all shipment related reports. To share key information like lead time, ETA or AFS to all sales channels and planning teams
• Be accountable to maintain shipment tracker report by in-time updating all necessary information for further financial usage
• To implement and study the logistics workflows and processes where have potential improvementsImport/Export Shipment monthly billing checking according with the most updated rate card
• To Flag any risk during daily work to keep the company running at lower risk environment
• In additional to importation, work on exportation where is necessary with 3rd party supplier
• Hands on, thinker and problem solver by smooth communication with CG supplier

• Work on all financial standard documents

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 3-5 years logistics related experience, 2-3 years at retail industry
• Import and Export experience required
• Strong knowledge on China custom polices (experience with importation of fur and/or down is a strong plus)
• 3PL vendor experience is a plus
• Cycle count and Stock take experience
• Good communication skill and problem-solving ability
• Both oral and written skill in English
• MS office skill
• Strong personal involvement in the team working
