Responsibilities:

• Stimulating continuous standardisation and optimisation of processes and organisational structures and implementing corresponding measures in consultation with the line manager.
• Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
• Implementing and ensuring efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems and their documentation.
• Optimal and consequent usage of the digital systems and initiation of optimizations for a penetrating digitization of the business processes
• Leading and developing functionally subordinate employees. Integrating new employees into the workflow and team. Encouraging team spirit.
• Stimulating further development of the international customs strategy and automating the customs/logistics processes, guidelines and instruments used to structure, handle and check the various customs procedures in the best possible way in cooperation with the specialist divisions and taking the statutory requirements into account.
• Implementing handling and checking processes for all required customs procedures and legalisations, in consultation with the site in question, taking current jurisdiction and legislation into account. Managing and processing projects.
• Ensuring that all issues in customs law are dealt with in relation to foreign trade processing.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of food/beverage industry experience in customs;
• Experience with import and export of dangerous goods;
• Experience in coordination with different locations;
• Experience in cost-saving projects would be preferable;
• English as working language
