Job Title: Import Service Officer

Report to: DSCM Service Supervisor

Business Unit: Demand & Supply Chain Management

Location: Shanghai

• pan>The Challenge:
• Need cross function communications through whole business process, e.g. production sites, warehouse, and shared service team like sourcing, customer service, finance.
• Deal with overseas affiliates is a plus due to business requirements.
• DNP and new projects of other business units
• Need continuous learning of new business policies
  

The Position:

• Follow up the progress of customs declaration and filing in real time, accept the consultation of Customs on goods declaration and give feedback to relevant departments timely.
• Coordinate service providers to ensure smooth goods & document flow for import business and monitor performance of the service providers.
• Perform bonded material process for manufacturing and trading purposes to ensure an accurate declaration and verification with relevant authorities.
• Understand and master HS classification principle.
• Follow up inspection of Customs and commodity inspection, annual review, and timelyfeedback the consultation and treatment of Customs and commodity inspection to thecompany.6. Maintain good government relations with the Customs and inspection authorities, strivefor the best interests of the company under the premise of legal compliance.7. Responsible for the monthly import data filing, as well as other statistical work includinglogistics spending.8. Other jobs or project assigned by supervisor.
  

The Ideal:

• Bachelor Degree holder or above in relative area (business administration/ supply chain/ logistics management / international trading … and etc)
• Familiar with the regulations and requirements on Customs and CIQ, knowledge in Food, Food additive or Feed additive products is a plus.
• At least 10 or more years of experience with multi-national enterprises in supply chain management or logistics work process, especially WGQ Free Tax Zone operation.
• Strong knowledge on Import/Export Customs documentations and flows management, including Bonded flows and major trade modes.
• Extensive experience in systems & tools in multi-company environment, SAP knowledge in Logistics Execution module is a must.
• Strong English communication capability and Office (Excel and PowerPoint) fluent user.
