Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to make full use of our Automatic declaration tool to transfer the declaration information to import and export broker and independently communicate with broker to ensure accurate and on-time data transition.
- Work with classification team to review non-production shipment invoice, applies applicable SAFE, Customs and NI regulations to provide import and export solutions for shipment requestors.
- Works on Customs Compliance tasks and problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Expands positive working relationships to finance, CSR, R&D, marketing, Solutions and other functions.
- Responds to a variety of internal and external customer request.
- Make use of 3rd party reporting product to conduct internal audit once required.
- Receives general instructions on daily work, detailed instructions on new projects.
- Support AEO certification project.
- Proactively communicates status of daily work and report on-going issue to manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Above 5 years’ hands-on experience in import and export Customs and declaration.
- Having great experience in directly interaction with Customs and CIQ officials.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese.
- A good team player.
- Bachelor’s degree or above majored in International trade, English or engineer.
- Having rich understanding of temporary import and hand-carry goods import procedure.
