Job Description

Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Import and Export Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.

The Import and Export Analyst is responsible for execute and grant sea Imports from Asia and Europe. expedited shipments and MRO and samples imports and local shipments from local vendors timely fashion. All these operations should be performed according trade compliance regulations (IMMEX, CIVA and CTPAT) and internal logistics procedures like expense control and corporate policies.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Execute the best logistics solution according the requirement
  • Shipments Tracking and follow up (International and local shipments in all modes)
  • Provide instructions to the carrier regarding service requested and desired time of arrival
  • Customs compliance process aligned with annex 24/31 system (STA)
  • Import/Export execution from 4 different customs and pedimento payment approval
  • Alignment with logistics expense control and management procedures
  • Coordination with buyers and receiving department
  • Application of CTPAT and OEA regulations to the imports and exports in all modes
  • Carrier’s and customs broker coordination (+13 different suppliers)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Customs and Logistics
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in Logistics & Import, Export and Trade Compliance
  • Experience on Mexican Trade compliance regulations, international Trade

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience CTPAT, OEA, VAT certifications, IMMEX PROSEC programs,
  • Technical skills and knowledges of Mexican Customs Law, Rulings of Mexican Trade Compliance, International Trade,
  • Urgency sense and international logistics knowledge
