What you will be doing:

• Responsible for providing Food & Beverage service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards
• Set up cashier work area and verify bank at beginning of shift
• Take In Room Dining orders by phone, making thoughtful recommendations on menu items, describing preparation and communicating guest’s delivery options and process
• Accurately process cash/credit card/room charge payments; assist in locating and reconciling posting errors
• Perform clerical duties such as keeping accurate records of funds received
• Performing closing duties, including completing cashier forms and ensuring register totals and register receipts match

Your experience and skills include:

• 1 year work experience in customer service is an asset
• Cash handling and computer skills required 
• Previous experience in luxury hotel environment desirable
• TB Clearance
• TIPS certification
• Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification

Your team and working environment:

• Frequent sitting, standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
