Position: Digital Product Manager

sourcing application on mobile devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategizing and

overseeing how the new versions of our platform are produced. We are looking for someone with a

passion for business and technology, and who deeply understand the importance of a seamless and

intuitive user experience. The Product Manager will envision new ways our platform can solve pain

points in the sourcing industry and pragmatically to develop solutions that fit within budgets and stay on

track with projected timeframes. Knowledge of key business demographics and creative approaches to

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis

? Research and analyze market conditions

? Identify key competitor and consumer trends

? Articulate market requirements and opportunities

? Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements

? Analyze product development processes and optimize them for efficiency and agility

? Survey the suppliers and buyers who use our apps to find out what needs they have and develop

strategies to better address those needs

Product Planning and Management

? Determine application core functions and features

? Define the long term strategy and create product road map

? Prepare product documents including Market Requirement Documents and product use cases

? Develop pricing strategies and product policies

? Determine digital product distribution methods and channels

? Oversee product development

? Manage and communicate with cross functional teams

Product Marketing

? Support the marketing team with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise

? Supply our marketing team with latest research and marketing information

? Provide input for marketing collateral development? Conduct product presentations

Customer and End-User Support

? Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from users

? Co-ordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback

? Monitor product statistics and data collected

? Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development

Main Skills and Capabilities Sought:

? 3+ years’ product development experience in a supervisory capacity

? Knowledge of international trade

? Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Marketing required

? Excellent networking skills, especially with regard to distribution channels and social media

? Strong English (written and spoken) and Chinese (spoken) language skills required.

Required Education and Experience:

? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in either Business, Marketing or Technology fields

? 2 to 3 years previous product management or international trade

? Project planning, management and forecasting experience

? Experience with implementing business and management principles and practices

? Strong motivational skills, especially when it comes to leading a team

? Quantitative and business analysis skills

? Excellent interpersonal networking skills

? Knowledge of marketing principles and practices, as well as digital distribution channels

? Decent understanding of technology and app development processes

? Commitment to 25 percent travel for the first year

? Work experience in product sourcing fields would be an strong asset
