Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to the (HK and Singapore listed) Group’s business within and outside Hong Kong, including but not limited to the areas of M&A, business structure, corporate finance, banking as well as general commercial matters (e.g. tenancy and litigation)
• Provide legal advice to the Board of Directors and internal departments
• Assist in the advisory and management of registration of intellectual properties
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements as required by the Board of Directors or internal departments
• Handle sale and purchase of real estate properties and tenancy agreements for the properties
• Manage and liaise with external counsels
• Undertake any ad hoc legal projects

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with min. 6-8 years PQE
• Experience in M&A, corporate/commercial and litigation/insolvency matters
• Familiar with different areas of law such as business activities, employment, tenancy, etc.
• Exposure in PRC Law would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-starter with good analytical and interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese & English is a must
• Able to work under pressure
