Eaton Corporation is currently seeking an Inclusion & Diversity Director to join our team. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based out of the following Eaton location: Beachwood, OH, Moon Township, PA, Southfield, MI, Galesburg, MI, Irvine, CA, Fort Worth, TX or Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance is offered for this position. Position Overview: Reporting into the Vice President of Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) and in partnership with the Global I&D team, the I&D Director will be responsible for crafting, owning and executing the global inclusion & diversity strategy in pursuit of the aspirational goal to be a model of inclusion and diversity in our industry. The role will require significant focus in the areas of: organizational change management, project management, analytics and insights, learning, and strategic internal and external relationships to further advance a culture of inclusion, diversity and equity Essential Functions: Serve as an inspiring leader and internal partner/consultant on Inclusion & Diversity Partner with global stakeholders and provide I&D expertise on processes, practices, policies and programs to achieve organizational I&D objectives and goal Collaborate with global leaders to successfully integrate and operationalize I&D in a variety of areas, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, team effectiveness, work life effectiveness, total rewards, health & well-being, employee relations, learning, leadership development, communications and performance management. Seek out internal and external standard methodologies and practices in diversity and inclusion that have proven successful and sustainable for potential reapplication. Navigate and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and convey an inspiring, compelling, and contemporary I&D strategy and future state. Drive alignment to the I&D strategy and influence various partner groups and leaders across businesses and regions (Regional Inclusion Councils, Inclusion Eaton Resource Groups, Business leaders, HR, etc.) Partner with internal and external resources to craft, plan, implement and facilitate Inclusion & Diversity education, workshops, experiences and discussions to improve cultural awareness, increase inclusivity and understanding of global inclusion and diversity topics. Be a motivation for change by developing and executing change management strategies to advance a culture of inclusion and increase diverse representation at all levels of the organization. Support resolution of individual or group conflicts that may arise from inclusion or diversity matters including the development and delivery of impactful interventions. Perform regular analysis, monitor and identify trends and gaps and develop reports of internal I&D metrics, provide data informed recommendations for sustainable improvement and exploit benchmark data as appropriate. Develop compelling presentations for the Board of Directors, the Global Inclusion Council, Regional Inclusion Council and other key partners. Develop and execute change management strategies to advance a culture of inclusion and achieve our 2030 commitments. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR minimum fifteen (15) years of progressive work experience will be considered in leu of degree Minimum seven (7) years leadership experience in a professional or corporate environment Experience leading and implementing global programs that drive progress towards an organizational priority Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Project/process management, problem solving, change leadership skills Outstanding analytical acumen, practiced at translating data into insights that drive change Global and cultural competence Position Criteria: Demonstrated leadership, navigation and relationship management Effective coach, facilitator and consultant Demonstrated courage and curiosity Advanced verbal & written communication and executive presentations Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $149,600-205,700. Eligible for a performance-based incentive bonus with a target at 24% of base.
