This is your role Responsibility for ensuring quality of material received from suppliers against component drawings, technical delivery specifications & standards. Responsibility for preparation & maintenance of inspection plans & quality plans in order to capture material defects at incoming quality stage. Responsible for communicating nonconformities to supplier & posting rejections. Responsible for calibrations of instruments & relation gauge in incoming QA as per defined frequency. Responsible for root cause analysis & failure investigation in case of failure due to component quality issue. Responsible for demanding & reviewing of corrective actions & preventive actions for observed nonconformities. Monitoring effectiveness of CAPA. Responsible for ensuring material test certificates as per the required specifications. Responsible for coordination of acceptance test, layout inspections & first part approval. Responsible for coordinating third party inspection of material & destructive testing of material in external lab. Responsible for maintaining SAP system stock vs physical stock of pending for inspection material. Responsible for maintaining lean material flow from incoming QA Responsible for maintaining quality systems as per ISO 9001:2015 Responsible for safety of quality inspectors working in the department, maintaining HIRA document. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds Knowledge acquired in 3-4 years in materials quality inspection Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable Technical Skills: Experience in incoming materials quality inspection Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 Knowledge of measuring instruments & equipment’s such as height gauge, roughness tester, hardness tester, bore gauges. Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 7 QC tools, 8D analysis, why-why analysis, fishbone diagram Knowledge of applicable norms and standards Basic Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as castings, machining, forgings, press parts, Heat treatments & surface treatments. Basic knowledge of SAP QM Module , MS Excel, Power point Key Skills: Proactive mindset and approach to collaborate & cooperate with suppliers, purchasers, manufacturing & store team. Growth mindset & positive attitude. Intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multi-cultural team Time management and Prioritization Skill.
