Indirect EMEA – Facility Service Category Manager The location is flexible within one of the main Eaton offices in EMEA. To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E  The primary function of the EMEA Facility Service Category Manager is to develop and implement a strategy to achieve the KPIs defined in the Profit Plan for the region (Category 1 savings, DPO, Supplier reduction, etc...). Responsibilities including supplier sourcing, data management, contract management, supplier negotiation/performance and continuous improvement in compliance with Eaton’s policies/procedures that meet the company’s goals/objectives. The spend responsibility is circa $70M for facility services and an additional $30MM revenue for scrap metal sales. Totalling circa $110MM The EMEA Facility Service Category Manager will be responsible to manage the development of commodity strategies in collaboration with the International Purchase Office (IPO) and key stakeholders which satisfy business requirements. Regular functional stakeholder reviews, Steering Committee presentations to the regional leadership team are key elements of the internal relationship management. Job Responibilities Responsible KPIs; Category 1 savings, SPIR / economics management, DPO / Supply Chain Finance roll out, Supplier reduction / tail management roll out, Purchasing Catalogues deployment. All KPIs are aligned with the IPO and the regional hierarchy via the Talenthub tool. Use the Talenhub platform to regularly review team's performance and provide feedback. Develop knowledge and engagement across Facility Service categories with close collaboration with all stakeholders. This role will establish and build internal relationships within the region and Corporate stakeholders to clearly understand material and service requirements. Regular engagement with Indirect team peers especially the Country Buyers to discuss ideas and project implementation. Regular travel required to all significant sites to understand scope and improve stakeholder engagement Lead the supplier market analysis and ensure supplier qualifications for RFQ’s which demonstrate TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for Eaton. Monitor and act upon regional and global economics related to this category, especially wage and scrap metal indexes Build performance based supplier relationships that lead to optimal pricing, quality improvements, process improvements and delivery of world class solutions. Responsible to approve new supplier adds and also any reduced pay terms requested to vendor master data Communicate with SCM and Corporate on supplier value propositions and supplier performance metrics which enable continuous improvement initiatives and actions. Maintain a sufficient amount of projects to enable metric achievement - categorise these into priority and make regular follow up Develop reporting data including CODB, GPS and Insights. Alignment with functional areas to ensure the cost savings and cost mitigation related to sourcing and supplier management activities are appropriately recognized in terms of financial performance. Implement master services contracts in accordance with regulatory and legal department’s requirements. Embrace the Eaton Business System (EBS) tools when driving sourcing events. Navigate challenging situations, win concessions without damaging relationships, and settle internal and external differences with a minimum of conflict, while being forceful, diplomatic, gaining trust and respect. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor degree: Math’s, Engineering, Business or a closely related subject 5+ years in SCM, Category management, Purchasing or a closely related role Possess knowledge of the various Manufacturing related categories and EPR system processes e.g. SAP Excellent SCM sourcing and supplier management process and deployment knowledge Strong experience in complex project management including but not limited to multi-country/regional scope and cross-functional coordination Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to influence a large and diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, engineers, operations, finance and supply chain management personnel.
