Industrial Engineering Co-Pilot (Maternity Cover FTC 14-16 months)

Slough, United Kingdom

 

£42,500 - £53,000 + bonus + benefits

The Site IE Co-Pilot measures and manages operational and financial performance of the main elements of the supply chain, driving operational excellence by providing KPIs and evaluation to factory management to achieve site strategy. Working with the support of the Site IE Manager, you will drive change in several value streams and support the overall site agenda, working to improve the segment performance on a European basis and support long-term shape of Supply capabilities.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Mathematics/Engineering/Scientific Field)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling efficient communication and influencing on all organizational levels; open to change and input from diverse workforce
  • Experience in a manufacturing or logistics background (preferred)
  • Ability to self-sufficiently analyse data and feedback to a range of stakeholders
  • Skilled in Project Management and Excel
     

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Delivering insights to drive Operational Excellence across your areas, analysing the evaluation of KPIs on a weekly and periodic basis to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Developing reports and analysis to support the value streams in identification and execution of their roadmaps, challenging and influencing management to drive the right priority projects to optimize production costs (COGS/MCC/Non Quality costs/stock)
  • Representing all aspects of the Supply division in the activity management process, developing potential solutions through communication with Engineering/Operations and identifying the optimal supply solution
  • Supporting the preparation of cost and capacity evaluations, being a strategic site partner in areas like CAB, financial target setting, sourcing strategy and site masterplans
