Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is currently seeking an Industrialization Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Menomonee Falls, WI location. Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development of manufacturing processes necessary for the successful industrialization of new and existing industrial control products. This includes the development of tools, mechanical/electrical testers and assembly processes used in the manufacture of stated components. This position will drive global standards for these manufacturing processes and provide global industrialization leadership for ICD products. In this function you will: Manage activities, people, and equipment associated with industrialization of the division’s products to applicable activities including prototype and production parts approval, molding and stamping tooling, pcba fct and ict testers, line layout and work instructions, fixtures and tools, manufacturing test strategy, BOM control, cost tracking, order entry setup, and inventory transition. Lead Design for Manufacturing in all PROlaunch projects Investigate technology and new products in manufacturing such as rapid prototyping, tooling, additive manufacturing, and production testing. Leverage all parts of Eaton, including Industry 4.0 team to select the right manufacturing plan for each new product launched. Work with plant managers and controllers to influence in investment in manufacturing technology Manage direct reports, conduct performance reviews, administer merit plan, develop goals and development plans with direct reports. Develop and manage the department budgets and provide financial oversite to the business Participate in the strategic and profit planning process on an annual basis Contribute to and recommend make vs. buy decisions early in the PROlaunch cycle Recommend and implement improvements to existing lines, while keeping NPI the priority When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years industrializtion engineering or manufacturing engineering experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Menomonee Falls, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Experience with the manufacture and assembly of electro-mechanical devices and PCBAs Background in developing manufacturing processes for new products Position Criteria: Proven track recorded in motivating technical staff, managing remote locations, driving for results, and team building.
