Your role

As Industry Manager Automotive you will develop, maintain and expand business relationships with strategically important customers for TRUMPF laser technology in all relevant areas of Automotive, i.e., body in white, power train, seats and doors, etc. Working at the corporate level to develop strategies for improved business results across end user organizations, resulting in increased revenue. You will be the expert to be asked within TRUMPF when it comes to questions on the Automotive market and its supply industry in China. Therefore, you need to know all relevant technologies, have a “three to five years’ ahead perspective” to identify trends and to develop and to maintain the right network within the industry.

Your tasks as Industry Manager Automotive:

• Identify, setup and maintain strategic partnerships
• Project specific support and sales training
• Management of special projects
• Develop market strategies, i.e., market analysis, trend scouting, identify new opportunities and customers and develop Goto-Market strategies
• Promotion of laser technology, e.g., definition of marketing activities, planning & joining internal / external events, webinars and writing articles and white papers
• Support to complete other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor per business requirement

In the field of Automotive: =Cars, trucks & agricultural machine, and their components

Your profile

1. Bachelor Degree or higher or experience in relevant Etc. Automotive, Electric, Laser technology

2. Knowledge and skills:
Automotive Industry in general

Laser application in Automotive Industry

Market analysis, working with Excel

Documentation and Presentation

Strong Communication

3. Native Chinese, fluent in English

4. Team player, independent worker, fast learner, higher travel frequency
