We're looking for an Industry Technical Specialist (ITS) in Intel's Business Consumption Team.
You will be a member of a diverse team which calls on Germany's biggest customers. As ITS (or pre-sales engineer) you are responsible for technical support for your customers working in collaboration with account executives and technical support resources.
You will ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The day-to-day activities include conducting demonstrations and proof of concepts, pre-RFP influencing of customers' decisions and defining optimal Intel-based solutions based on customers' criteria, technical customer management, and providing general pre- and post-sales technical support to the customers.
The preferred location for this job is the Munich Field Sales office in Feldkirchen.
This is a commissioned sales position.

Qualifications
This position is suitable for candidates who have a proven ability to establish and maintain diverse technical relationships with customers while navigating internal stakeholders. Experience in the segment of Financial Services (Banking, Insurance) and/or Government and a good technical understanding of Intel's product portfolio with a focus on client and datacenter is required.
Required Skills/Experience:
Degree in a technical field, ideally Computer Science or IT.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, technical presales, technical consultancy, development, or technical support activities.
Demonstrated ability to establish and exercise relationships with customers and proven skill to influence customer decisions.
Proven ability to explain technical content to a non-technical audience.
Results orientation, pro-activeness and ability to perform under pressure in a diverse environment.
Familiarity with compute architecture (hardware/software/cloud).
Ability to permanently learn and stay up to date on new products and technologies.
Capable of working unsupervised by prioritizing work and focusing on meeting agreed objectives in required timeframe with high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Additionally beneficial skills:
Existing knowledge and contacts in the German financial service industry and/or Government sector.
Practical experience with typical IT challenges.
Knowledge of cloud migration and how to move workloads into the cloud.
Understanding of storage technology, network and datacenter architecture as well as related software stacks.
Experience with Government tender purchasing rules.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
