Job Description:

Citi's Vulnerability Assessments (VA) team is responsible for providing Vulnerability Assessment services to all Citi businesses and technology teams globally. The duties of a VA analyst will include manual and automated testing through a defined testing process. The analyst will be identifying weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the Citi infrastructure. Commercial and open source Vulnerability Assessment tools and utilities are leveraged during these assessments.

The technical analyst role is in the Ft. Lauderdale team, which is part of a larger global team responsible for providing vulnerability assessment to all business within Citi.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Vulnerability Assessment services to Citi businesses globally through a comprehensive testing process
• Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system and propose countermeasures
• Test of the overall security of critical infrastructure components and applications to ensure they comply with internal policies, security architecture best practices, and industry standards
• Scan and discover rouge hosts, networks, and devices
• Scan and discover vulnerable systems and applications
• Report Information Security vulnerabilities to businesses

Qualifications:

This position requires:

• At least 3-5 years working experience in penetration testing and/or technical analysis of security issues
• Bachelor's Degree

The candidate is expected to be already familiar with the majority of the technologies and security tools:

• Vulnerability Assessment tools, e.g. McAfee Vulnerability Manager, Retina Network Security Scanner, Tripwire nCircle, Tenable Nessus, Qualys VM, etc.
• Understanding of OSI model
• OS Security, e.g. Unix, Linux, Windows, Cisco, etc.
• Understanding of common protocols, e.g. DNS, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, Routing Protocols
• Basics of IP network

OR

• Experience in Web development and programming languages. i.e. Java/J2EE (Servlets/JSPs, STRUTS, Spring Flow, JavaServer Faces, Hibernate, JDBC, Enterprise Java Beans)
