The members of the Information Security Division are on constant alert, using their creativity and knowledge of cybersecurity, technology and business processes to develop and deliver creative solutions. In this fast-paced environment, staff collaborate to respond to current risks, while identifying and anticipating future threats. Our cyber capabilities encompass the full spectrum of services from Cyber Operations (SOC, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Incident Response, Penetration Testing & Red Teaming, Cyber Analytics & Fraud, and Insider threat) to Cyber Architecture and Engineering (Network, Platform, Cloud, and Applications Security). Together with the CISO and his leadership team, staff provide a robust set of cyber services that provide full scope protection and response capabilities across the BNY Mellon enterprise. We help our businesses, the bank’s executive team, and our board of directors understand cybersecurity risk and the steps that must be taken to create and maintain a secure environment that drives innovation.
What you will be doing:
Information Security Administrator - Advanced
- Establish client, account, user, and service entitlements on provisioning systems. Complete work with accuracy and within Service Level Agreements to meet established IAM Operations goals.
- Responsibilities include execution of complex security administration of BNYM applications to establish access for new external/internal client users and maintain existing clients.
- Identity and Access Management Onboarding and Adoption
- Facilitates discussions between stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to ensure a full understanding of security administration process, support requirements, workflow, and form design
- Facilitation of Risk Mitigation projects
- Perform Reconciliation and Governance Oversight
- Provides comprehensive administrative support for an operational area related to information security
- Follows security-related processes and provides assistance on security-related initiatives
- Advanced support of operations security components
- Responsibilities include execution of day-to-day security administration, completion of projects intended to improve operations, client satisfaction, and enforcement of appropriate standards and procedures for assigned operational area
- Stays aware of development and implementation of security practices and procedures, and standards for multiple platforms and diverse system environments
- Assists in supporting the achievement of team objectives
Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 3-5 years of experience in information security or related technology experience required
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
