Job Description

Intel's Information Security Organization is looking for an experienced investigator to work on the Global Investigations Forensics and e-Discovery team. The team is responsible for keeping Intel legal, investigating Information Security Policy Violations, Ethics reports, IP related incidents, Insider Threat actions and providing forensic support to all of Intel's business units, legal teams, Human Resources and investigative groups.

As a member of the investigations and forensics team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and leading investigations related to Information Security and Insider Threat activities.
  • Performing technical forensic analysis of computer hard drives, digital media, small form factor devices, network log analytics as well as providing technical investigative support and providing eDiscovery support for our litigation group.

In addition the ideal candidate should also have strong communication skills to present findings in a clear and articulate manner.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or any other related field; or equivalent working experience in the industry in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years' experience working as an investigator or providing similar support functions working with legal teams, law enforcement or private sector corporate investigations and incident response
  • Certifications such as: CISSP, GIAC, EnCE or related industry standard forensic certifications and/or training


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:

  • Enterprise data analysis platforms, multiple operating systems, multiple small form factor analysis and imaging solutions
  • Standalone forensic analysis solutions along with associated reporting and documentation
  • Conducting technical investigations and accompanying subject interviews

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
