Infrastructure Section - Information Security Unit

The appointee will assist in providing technical support on information security (IS) and related measures in the University. He/She will be responsible for conducting security assessment on network and system, implementing IS control and providing appropriate recommendation/remediation in compliance with the University’s policy. He/She will also be required to handle IS incidents, develop guidelines and arrange IS awareness trainings.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, with four years of work experience in IS or IT infrastructure. Knowledge of vulnerability management or possession of IS-related certification, e.g. CISSP, SSCP, CSSLP, CCFP, CIFI, CISA or CEH will be advantageous. Applicants with less experience in IS may be considered for the post of Assistant Information Security Officer.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
