General Summary 

• Manage IT operations in Global Sourcing Hong Kong and Shenzhen offices to support business requirements and growth in a cost effective manner.
• Provide strategic plans and solutions to management for IT infrastructure and business solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Lead IT team to install, configure, maintain, optimize, and support IT systems including operating systems, email, internet access, user administration, data backup/recovery, data integrity, remote access, client and application support.
• Analyze user growth needs and keep abreast of the latest technology trends to develop solutions to enhance existing capabilities
• Strategize technology needs and design acquisition of network servers, desktops, laptops and peripherals based on specifications and corporate standard.
• Evaluate, implement and execute IT policies, procedures, and standards as directed by counterparts at corporate.
• Works directly with vendors and service providers to diagnose, rectify, and document network or service issues that degrade user services in the DG offices and provide improvement plan
• Maintain IT operating and capital expenses.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server operating system
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, hardware, peripherals, server security/authentication, data backup and recovery.
• Ability to effectively analyze and troubleshoot network, hardware and software problems. Perform problem isolation and resolution in a senior capacity.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications, documents, and project plans
• Ability to implement proactive monitoring and planning to further develop and maintain IT systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Ability to communicate with end users effectively with a service-minded attitude
• High sense of responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under pressure.

 Work Experience &/or Education: 

• Diploma or above in Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years IT experience with global company background

• Experience with Windows system administration and support
