Information Systems Senior Manager - Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) Mergers & Acquisitions

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will serve as the primary leader for DTI Mergers & Acquisition Integration and Divestiture activities. The selected candidate will work with a cross-functional IS team and their business counterparts to ensure successful integration of mergers and acquisitions. We seek a leader with a passion for innovation, a collaborative working style, and partners effectively with business leaders and across the broader DTI organization. This leader will be responsible for managing the processes, blueprints/playbooks and data migration activities for technology integration activities related to M&As.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of processes for technology integration for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
• Advance the DTI strategy for streamlining and consistent execution of technology integration in partnership with functional business partners
• Provide leadership and guidance to DTI teams for integration activity
• Lead a centralized DTI M&A Integration program management team to provide guidance and execution of data transfers
• Develop integration project scope, budget and reporting
• Manage assignment of PM and PMO support resources
• Define processes for external data exchange for M&A to be compliant with internal and external requirements (e.g. GxP, Security, Internal Audits, Privacy)
• Drive creation of operational SOPs and work instructions for consistent M&A activities
• Handle vendor, service costs, requirements elicitation, and documentation, market/vendor analysis, identification and management of risks
• Work closely with cross-functional DTI leads and technical SMEs to enable adoption of processes and SOPs

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

Or

Master’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with M&A integration activities
• Strong program management of large technology projects
• Strong understanding of GxP compliant practices
• Ability to build compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
• Understand business functionality and translate it into application integration requirements
• Solid grasp of business complexity and project interdependencies
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question partners across functions
• Sharp learning agility, problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Build a multi-functional alliance to advance technical innovation to deliver business value
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Analytical skills and techniques to evaluate, interpret and resolve sophisticated situations/problems using multiple sources of information
• Experience in biotechnology or other healthcare environments
