This position is for an infrastructure engineer who is an expert on Storage/OS architecting and troubleshooting for factory automation systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Drive the storage architecture design, pathfinding, and system upgrade/migration activities
-Provide high performance/low cost data infrastructure solutions for factory manufacturing process
-Enable 24x7 sustainable system capability with disaster recovery planning
-Work independently on troubleshooting/resolving issues, optimizing system performance especially at OS or storage level
-Participate in knowledge sharing and presenting new capability findings, project status and deliverables in various internal forums.
-Effectively communicating project/issue status to customers and stakeholders
-Ensuring compliance with schedules, processes and Intel policies and values

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Qualifications:
Minimum skills and experience:
Bachelor Degree with 6+ years' experience or Master Degree with 4+ years' development experience in storage design (EMC/Netapp), OS administrators etc..
4+ years developing storage solution and Linux/windows troubleshooting.

Preferred skills and experience:
A Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, and 10+ years of industry work experience.
Big Data Cloud knowledge.
Network knowledge such as Ethernet, InfiniBand, etc.is a plus.
