TSG is building next generation scalable, efficient data center as a service using the latest innovation infrastructure. Building on top of the cloud deployments in BNY Mellon, we are aggressively automating and bridging the green field cloud with the existing virtual computing environments.
The Production Control team provides 24x7 support for all batch requests and one-time changes. The team monitors and enforces defined OLAs and SLAs and handles targeted application recovery supporting multiple ESP (Automated Workload Scheduler) environments. Production Control processes mainframe and distributed requests, handles abend resolution, maintains exception alerting logic and works closely with application-aligned support on batch-oriented requirements. The management scope of Production Control includes Production, DR and Test environments and is concentrated on monitoring and recovery elements.

Infrastructure Operations Administrator-Advanced->> Contributes to the functionality of the infrastructure operations division. Performs and assists in leading file transmission and equipment hardware support services. Handles unique and more complex issues. Performs regular preventative maintenance, equipment alignment and calibration. Evaluates and selects replacement alternatives. Leads support staff in the operation of tape destruction and rotation. Serves as a liaison between support and management. Researches and recommends changes in the tape rotation process. Reviews assigned file transmission requests to ensure they are completed by BNY Mellon approved standards. Assists in supporting the achievement of team objectives.
Qualifications
- Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent), or equivalent work experience is required.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Batch Processing via automated scheduling tool (Workload Automation ESP series or comparable software tool)
