Job Description

The mission of Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is to drive the future for FPGAs and Structured ASICs (eASIC) technologies through platforms and solutions. With the Cloud and Enterprise Acceleration Division, you'll be surrounded by some of the brightest engineering and business minds in the world as we are responsible for delivering success with innovative data center solutions.

As an Infrastructure Processing Unit (IPU) Business Development Manager, you will be focused on driving network attached accelerators using FPGAs/eASICs in cloud and enterprise datacenters. In this position you will need to uncover the IPU needs of end customers, establish vision, and work with many groups across the company to develop a One Intel strategy to sustain the growth of this segment.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage revenue, business development and coordinating technical marketing activities.

  • Create and communicate market segment long-term outlook, contributing to the business plan.

  • Conduct competitive analysis, collaborating with internal partners, and proposing deeply technical and commercial solutions.

  • Drive proof of concept designs for our data center customers.

  • Influence technical solution and product development by partnering closely with architecture, hardware, and software stakeholders.

  • Bring your commercial success in bringing new technologies to the market.

Qualifications

Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience, experience should include:

  • Engineering experience.

  • Business and/or customer facing experience.

  • Willing and able to travel, both domestic and international.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus

  • Experienced semiconductor business role, or a technical role with customer-facing experience.

  • Established relationships with CSPs (Comm Service Provider), System OEMs, ODMs, or CMs (Contract Mfg) in the data center vertical.

  • Industry knowledge in cloud native architectures and workloads around IaaS and PaaS systems: virtualization, OVS, RDMA, NVMe-oF, security, encryption (AES, IPSEC, TLS).

  • Fluent with trends in storage and memory disaggregation.

  • MBA.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
