In this role, you have the opportunity to
Support our Secure Foundation Domain and provide security architectural assessments, define capability requirements, assist in the selection and implementation of new security tools, provide technical subject matter expertise on domain specific security issues.
You are responsible for
Perform security assessments to identify weaknesses within new and existing information technology systems and associated processes.
Advise and oversee the implementation of appropriate changes, updates, and upgrades in response to vulnerabilities and incursions.
Define security requirements for new and existing systems, capabilities, and tools.
Synthesize knowledge of IT hardware and software, security risks, organizational needs, and cybersecurity risks with organizational policies and industry standards.
Identify vulnerabilities in existing systems, plan and implement architectural changes to improve security.
You are a part of
Philips Group Security team ensures the safety and security of our customers, employees, and partners across the globe. Within Group Security – Information Security (GS-IS), SAE Team (Strategy, Architecture & Execution) is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing enterprise-wide information security solutions.
Infrastructure Security Architect (Cloud & Network) will report directly to the Head of Security Architecture.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to convey extremely complex concepts into easy to understand terms for non-security professionals.
Knowledge of risk management and assessment theories and practices; and when to apply security concepts and controls.
Experience both in waterfall & SecDevOps/agile way of working.
Broad experience in designing and integrating security solutions / functionality embedded in platforms and applications in cloud and traditional network environments.
Experience with AWS, Azure, Cisco (SDLAN) and TrustSecGoogle and Alyun stacks preferred.
Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and understanding of how Information Security needs to comply with those requirements.
Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA's Security+, Cloud Security Certified Prof (CSSP) and/or technology specific certifications for CISCO, Azure, AWS, Google and Alyun.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and NIST framework.
Bachelor degree.
