Objective of job (abbreviated)
Assist application team from IT Infrastructure point of view, through the whole project lifecycle, incl. Demand Phase, Solution Finalization Phase, Service Delivery Phase & Run Phase. Acting as local Project Responsible Contact for China. DevOps working model with Singapore and India team to complete the project infrastructure work.
Provide and maintains a stable and efficient IT Infrastructure Management for the scope of Asia Data Center/China; Co-ordinate, support, manage and improve operations for the SLA. Plan and execute further consolidation and standardization of applications and servers at local level.

Main tasks
1. Data Center Technial Solution & Project Management
•Consolidate local requirements gathered from different business units to local level
•Provide technical guidance regarding local and global IT infrastructure
•Good overall solution design knowledge and concept, consolidate all major points including system performance, security control, compliance, etc.
•Following Daimler Infrastructure management criterion and policy, e.g. network security, technical stack, user management, etc.
•Provide architecture analysis and solution review to the new demands and applications to guarantee the IT infrastructure landscape grows in the predefined direction. Collaborate with demand and project teams as required
•Prepare solution design documentation, e.g. OPM diagram, supporting documentation.
•Lead the end-to-end new demand design, implementation & operation from infrastructure side.
2. DevOps Infrastructure Support
•Be part of the application development team for specific complex projects, responsible for the digital technology initiatives from IT Infrastructure perspective supporting whole lifecycle of applicaton design, implementation and operations.
•Maintains and continuously improves the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
•Oversights and accountability for performance in incident management, software deployment, and hardware build-out. Cuts minutes off outages. Manages technical response during critical incidents.
•Supports and collaborates with developers and application owners, Singapore/India infrastructure team.
3. Kubernetes, Docker and CD/CI
•Work as solution architect and provide technical sonsult & solution design for ITx team on Daimler container platform, including DHC CaaS and others.
•Working experience on Flannel, ELK, Prometheus, Salt, etc.
•Working experience on repo management tools, including Nexus, Artifactor, Habor,HELM
•Deep understanding for micro service;
•Be familiar with CD/CI tools, including Jekins, GoCD, etc.
•Deveploment experience is advantage, e.g. Python, GO.
•Knowledge for whole lifecycle of software development
