The Wireless Access Network Division SiHi group of Intel Network Platform Group develops subsystem IP for 5G products. We are specialized in creating low power programmable solutions for compute-intensive applications in different fields like communications, imaging, video codec’s and video post-processing. The foundation of these solutions is a unique architecture template coupled with a set of powerful hardware-software co-development tools. As Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer based in Eindhoven, you will be joining a highly motivated, highly skilled and diverse team. You contribute to and maintain the development environment used by the hardware and software engineers (across several sites). You will support users, supply the necessary trainings and documentation to perform all activities of engineers and build managers. You will also monitor usage, identify and resolve bottlenecks in the system. You innovate and automate the Continuous Integration process to enhance productivity.

Key responsibilities:
- Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects.
- Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
- Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
- dentifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are considered as a base for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in rounding up the profile.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Good knowledge of Linux (distributed) environment and Operating System
· Good scripting skills (shell, python)
· Experience with a source code management system (Git)
· Experience with build systems like Makefile or Cmake
· Good communication skills in English, both oral and written form
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with distributed systems (batch or cluster systems)
· Knowledge of Java programming language
· Previous experience with Gerrit and TeamCity to support the continuous integration
· Flexibility to switch between different assignments

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
