Job Description
Job Summary The Innovation Program Manager will be a member of the Eaton Legal Operations Center of Excellence, which is designed to function as a agency to the function and allow the Legal Department to drive scalable efficiencies across the global Legal Team. They will be responsible for creating and implementing new digital tools, identifying automation and process optimization opportunities, continuous improvement initiatives and develop insight-based dashboards to drive strategic decision making. The successful candidate will help develop and spearhead programs and processes to improve data integrity and transparency across Legal’ s databases. Job Responsibilities Lead the creation of internal-facing dashboards to manage Legal Spend, profit planning process, goal performance and other information required by leaders to support strategic decision making. Identify and implement functional productivity efforts including design thinking workshops, process optimization initiatives and automation efforts. Support key Legal Operations data analytics processes from multiple systems, such as outside counsel invoicing, patent inventor awards program and compliance and controls in Eaton systems. Lead the creation of business-facing dashboards using various inputs to develop cost-out recommendations, annuity add/drop insights, comprehensive forecasts, patent to product mapping dashboards and other support needed for profit plan. Create auditing and outside counsel management strategy to ensure complete transparency and accountability for outside counsel. Develop and deploy self-service tools including an e-commerce playbook, Brightlayer self-service portal and portals for risk assessments. Support implementation of training and communication program. Build training and communication analytics performance reports measuring on the job effectiveness. Identifying, developing and deploying new tools and processes and continuously improving communications methods. Drive global awareness and implementation of the training and communication program at all levels of the organization. Implement development and change management related to policies, communication, notices and guidance for the function. Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred. Years and area of experience required At least 2 years Technical knowledge Strong knowledge and understanding of creating interactive dashboards and using information to develop strategic business insights. Strong knowledge and understanding of reconciling disparate information from multiple sources and creating a cohesive result. Solid computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint Strong English language skills. Other languages a plus Strong knowledge and understanding of IT systems and infrastructure in multinational companies. Experience in Data Mapping and good understanding of information flows and systems integration. Soft skills Results-driven with the ability to take initiative, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities Demonstrated ability to lead projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High degree of independence and strong presentation skills. Experience in process optimization and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. Integrity and high standard professional ethics. Strong intercultural skills and ability bridging cultural differences.
