Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Teach Italian from A1 to B2 level following the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), covering beginner courses up to advanced B2 level, and prepare students for CELI / CILS exams. Cover four core skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Prioritize pronunciation and daily conversation for A1–A2 levels; strengthen long dialogues, reading and writing for B1–B2 levels.
2. Independently prepare lessons for all A1–B2 levels, design in-class interactive exercises, assign homework, cooperate with Chinese administrative staff on unit tests and track students’ learning progress.
3. Communicate efficiently with Chinese administrative staff and Chinese teachers about students’ issues, and adjust teaching pace according to each student’s level.
4. Take part in teaching research activities, optimize course materials and comply with the institute’s teaching management rules.
Class format: mainly small-group classes, online courses and one-on-one tutoring.
Remuneration
Basic salary + hourly teaching allowance (Hourly pay is calculated monthly. Salary is paid on the 10th of each month; the specific hourly rate will be discussed during the interview.)
Requirements
1. Italian citizen, native Italian speaker with authentic and standard pronunciation.
2. Good command of Chinese (HSK Level 5 Certificate preferred). Able to explain grammar and language points in Chinese to help Chinese students understand; English can be used as an auxiliary communication language.
3. Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s degree preferred); candidates holding CELI or CILS examiner certification are preferred.
4. Experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language, familiar with A1–B2 courses; experience in CELI / CILS exam preparation teaching is a plus.
5. Patient, with strong classroom charisma, able to encourage students to speak Italian. Be ready to provide documents required for applying for a Chinese work visa (we will assist with the work permit and residence permit application process).
