Job Description
This is a quota carrying sales position responsible for selling the Siemens Xcelerator Portfolio into a set of accounts. IPS Rep will be responsible for developing and driving Sales opportunities from Discover to Close. Rep is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships within these accounts. Rep will develop the account strategy and ensure effective execution aligned with sales targets and objectives. Account strategy is developed by analyzing the market segment, business targets & strategy, key business trends, and current adoption of Siemens technology. Candidate will use CRM tool, social selling, and other forms of outreach and nurturing to engage with these accounts. The ability to effectively communicate the Siemens value proposition and collaborate with internal teams will be essential to success in this role. Essential Functions: Strong prospecting and relationship building skills Territory Planning Selling Siemens products and/or services to customer and prospect accounts Create and manage opportunities from inception to close Identify requirements, projects, competitive details, and pain points to determine if Siemens has applicable solutions Strong opportunity management skills Collaboration with Sales Leadership, Pre-Sales, Portfolio, Product, and Lead Development Manage sales pipeline and report sales activities and KPI's in regular business reviews Use Salesforce CRM and other systems to manage, monitor, and track opportunities Participates in sales events and user meetings Travel: 25% Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to generate prospective customers through follow up of sales leads and cold calling Market segmentation and targeted outreach Ability to understand and interpret requirements for specific solutions being sold Relentless focus on following up with decision makers and maintaining forward movement of the sales process throughout the sales cycle Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Experience documenting opportunity progress within CRM Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field 3+ years Inside Sales and/or direct selling experience with a successful track record Executive Level Communication and Presentation skills Must understand Microsoft Office Outlook, strong computer skills Must be a motivated individual Must currently reside in one of the listed locations *This position could be a Hybrid in-office/home position if the candidate is close-enough to a Siemens office.
