If you have a gift for building customer relationships over the phone, an ownership attitude, 1-2 years business related experience, are team oriented and are target driven, then you may have found your dream job… JOB DESCRIPTION The Renewal Sales Representative works with existing customers to renew their perpetual support contracts. The renewal is evidence that the customer has committed to continue their relationship with the company. The Renewal Sales Rep primarily interacts with customers and/or partners via the telephone. They are responsible for not only retaining support revenue, but also reinstating customers on support and uncovering Software and Training/Services. The Renewal Sales Rep is responsible for meeting/exceeding the Renewal Sales Revenue Quota. As such, this is a sales role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work proactively with assigned customers to prepare for the successful renewal of support contracts. Build relationships with the influencers and decision makers within assigned customers. Maintain good industry and business knowledge. Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge as is relevant for assigned customers. Prepare renewal quotes for maintenance and support contracts consistent with expected timelines and policies. Contact and follow-up with customers to ensure timely renewal of support contract. Serve as liaison between customers and appropriate company departments to resolve escalated questions and issues and to maximize customer satisfaction in relation to renewals. Work with broader account team to provide seamless customer interactions. Manage negotiations with customers on pricing and price increases. Effectively communicate company messages, value propositions, etc. verbally and in writing. REVENUE GENERATION Learn and use the systems required to complete the renewal, track progress, forecast and report results. Escalate issues as they arise to ensure timely resolution. Submit order for processing and invoicing. Track non-renewal including reasons for decline. Prepare forecasts of renewal bookings. Participate in forecast reviews. Generate leads for additional products and training/services. Responsible for achieving/exceeding renewal sales quota. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure effective and timely follow-up. Motivated, goal oriented with the proven ability to work with minimal direction and maintain a high level of collaboration across geographically diverse teams. Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess a high degree of honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Professional image and interpersonal skills. Good decision-making ability and insightfulness. Knowledge of the technology industry and typical product deployment. Working knowledge of CRM applications is desired.
