Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Calgary, Alberta has an opening for a 12-month internship opportunity in our Sales Department. Our Eaton – Calgary, Alberta sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Ontario region. The successful candidate will assist the Ontario Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, data entry, order entry, order management and product support. Primary Responsibilities: Assist with inside sales – quotations, data entry, order entry and sales support. Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review. Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management. Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support such as fielding product inquiries, order entry and order expedite. Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma or Degree Program or related field of study. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. This position does not offer relocation. The candidate must be willing to work in our site located in Calgary, AB. Preferred Qualifications: Previous sales or customer service experience an asset. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must adhere to all Eaton safety policy and work well within a high safety culture. Must be able to wear PPE (i.e.. steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves if required). Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities. Must be able to follow detailed instructions. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
