Location: France - Montrottier / Poland - Tczew / Germany / Remote work possible Job Summary: Eaton eMobility is looking for an inside sales representative. The Inside Sales Representative eMobility Europe has the primary responsibility for providing direct support to customers and the business unit commercial team regarding all European customer related inquiries and tasks as defined by the Inside Sales Manager. The activities include understanding and interpreting what we sell and where we sell it, providing product information, responding to quotation requests, forwarding pricing changes and product change notifications, adding new account setups, addressing production inquiries and supply-chain inquiries. Under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager based in the United States, this position is responsible of managing the assigned customers base to increase sales in the local marketplace (mainly Europe) and provide sales and technical assistance to distributors, contractors and internal personnel. Please note that this role has the potential to be a development assignment with a path to advancement to a field sales, marketing, or product management role once the candidate is deemed ready Job Responsibilities: Lead, for the assigned customer in Europe all the programs that revolve around pricing, revenue, growth, profitability, design, and customer satisfaction. Manage and respond to the pre-order needs of new and existing customers including reviewing and interpreting customer needs from eCommerce sources, fulfill proto-type requests, utilize the Request For Quote (RFQ) process, and prepare formal quotes and new account setup forms. Serves as a member of a cross-functional customer interface team to insure a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to customer needs. Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, preparing quotations. Provides input into the description, qualification, and recommendations of growth opportunities for new product. Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution. Think outside the box to creatively handle difficult situations. Gathers competitive information about projects/ product / platform trends / directions and reports it to the Sales Manager. Manages cost reduction programs to support customer cost cutting initiatives while maintaining internal profitability targets. Builds customer-supplier relationships through daily interface with customer, operations, and engineering. Contributes to the development and implementation of pricing and commercial terms and conditions to support internal profitability targets. #LI-JN1 Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Business or other approved discipline. Fluent English and German. A minimum of two year’s of experience in Inside Sales or a related position within the manufacturing industry. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with MRP and CRM systems. Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus. Drive for results, priority setting, time management and communication/negotiation.
