You will help us ensure that our front-line inspection teams deliver the highest quality of service to our clients.
The Job
As an Inspector Supervisor, you will do everything necessary to increase our operational effectiveness and fully realize the potential of our team members.
You will be expected to:
- Audit and assess inspectors’ performance, including on-site, and report any issues found to the management
- Identify room for improvement in inspectors’ work and give appropriate advice, in order to ensure that their performance is up to the company standards
- Assist inspectors in high-priority or high-risk inspections, as well as when assigned to lead a front-line team
- Manage inspector training in the Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu areas of operation
- Maintain two-way communication with our teams and/or factories in order to resolve any issues that may arise .
We may also ask you to:
- Assist investigations in case of client or factory complaints
- Supervise the implementation of new operational processes
- Contribute to the recruitment plans regarding front-line staff
The Candidate
It could be you, if you have:
- A university degree in Engineering (an electronics major preferred but not mandatory)
- Practical experience with quality assurance and ISO9001
- Fluency in written and spoken English
It also helps if you are:
- Proficient in database management (MS Excel, dynamic charts, macros, etc.)
- Prepared to frequently travel for work
- Self-motivated, highly responsible, with a strong sense of professional integrity
