Eaton’s Power Systems Division is seeking an Inspector/Tester C – 2nd shift to join our team. The hourly rate starts at $20/hr, depending on experience + $1.25 shift differential. The core hours are 3 - 11 pm. This position is based at our Badger Dr location (Waukesha WI). This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms: Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. You will perform electrical testing on assembled single and three-phase transformers/regulators per established procedures and monitor conformance to quality standards. In this function you will: Perform routine factory loss tests per established procedures, including load loss (winding loss) & no-load loss (core loss). Perform power factor, ratio, and resistance tests per established procedures. Follow routine tests to inspect unit nameplate, stamp impedance value on nameplate, and secure nameplate to tested unit. Perform visual inspection of units throughout the assembly process per established procedures. Perform the following tests as required: ratio, resistance, leak, continuity, control box, insulation resistance, regulator sub-assembly, regulator modification, and regulator run-in. Apply decals and stencils to exterior of unit and perform paint mileage checks as required. Complete various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures. Collect various types of data per established procedures as required. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
