Job Description
To perform research & analysis and other credit management activities for IB clients. These include preparation of
Responsible for write-up of IB credit proposals by working closely with Frontline and Risk. Comprehensive credit memo/diary note coverage covering all key analytical areas – risk rating, financials, recent news, economic, political/regulatory environment and views from rating agencies/other research institutions.
Personally develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business (RM's and R&A Associates) and Risk Executives to ensure all key risks are properly recognized and thoughtfully mitigated in credit proposals.
Process
Ensure BAU services are run smoothly, with low/no escalations.
Reduce regional variations in the templates, procedures and policies by adopting a globally consistent framework in the hub.
Play an active and constructive role in identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of credit process.
People
Participate in the training programs (technical & soft skills) rolled out by the Business Unit.
Risk/Compliance/Behaivours
Adherence to internal group policies, procedures and processes.
Ensure all group assigned Mandatory Trainings are completed in a timely manner.

- All other credit management activities as identified by Credit and Capital Management (CCM) from time to time.

- Credit Analysis skills (strong fundamentals)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance from a premier institution or other avenues such as Masters in Economics, etc
- Business acumen & knowledge
- Good English, speaking & writing skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent report writing skills
- 4-6 years’ work experience in the field of credit analysis with knowledge of banking products
