Job Description

F11x is looking for an experienced Area Coordinator (AC) to support equipment design reviews tool installation, define and manage install milestones for factory equipment. You will interface with, manage, and organize various organizations to ensure equipment is installed and qualified on schedule, which will require planning, organization and problem resolution skills. The F11x AC tactically manages tool install timelines and priorities to ensures key milestones are met. You will coordinate and approve e-requests that impact the factory, by ensuring impactive work is well planned and communicated prior to work. The AC will drive effective solutions to install related challenges as they arise and escalate to EPCoT manager as needed. The AC takes a leadership role within F11x for their area to ensure tool install designs are matched and verified with our transfer partners. The Fab11x Manufacturing Area Coordinator is a dynamic position with responsibilities in both the strategic and tactical spaces within F11x. Roles will be in the following functional areas, but there may be some adjustments in scope as needs arise: C4/Labs, Metro, Planar and Wet Etch.

Job scope and focus
You will be responsible for safely installing or de-installing factory equipment. You will be required to read and understand detailed design packages and validate the tool requirements. You we be responsible for the accuracy of the design packages, installation/demo details, coordination and scheduling of facility systems connection and disconnection. You will work closely with the engineering tool owner, IQ Techs and EPCoT manger to ensure project is meeting expected schedule and high light any issues that may impact safety, quality, or the schedule. You will be responsible for the install schedule and project from design start through eMRCL. You will give weekly updates on the schedule and report out in EPCoT on area status. You will be responsible to work with buyers, suppliers, and the module to ensure resources, parts, funding, and schedule are accurate. Your job is to ensure the tools are install/demo'd per the design package and to highlight any issues that need resolved to ensure project is completed safely and on schedule. You will be managing several projects at once and you must be able to manage your time and scope appropriately to complete the tasks safely and on time with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience with Fab install/ qualification scope.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years leading tool install teams, construction process and experience interfacing with construction contractors and virtual factory counterparts.

  • Bachelors, MS or PhD degree in Mechanical, Chemistry, Electrical degree or related fields.
