In this role you will be supporting the Regional Construction Manager (National compliance) in all aspects of assurance monitoring and the implementation of railway engineering standards into the central construction team. What are my responsibilities? Responsibility for delivery and communication of engineering standards within the construction function Responsibility for compliance with appropriate legislation and standards relative to the construction Implementation of approved best practice techniques to ensure standards are maintained and construction best practice is communicated throughout the business Attend appropriate internal and external meetings in support of the construction function Pro-actively build and maintain a professional network with appropriate industry stakeholder groups Support Regional Construction Managers in the submission of Siemens tender documentation, ensuring that the functional department is appropriately represented at all times Provide professional advice/guidance/training to regional construction teams Ensure all EHS, ESG, and sustainability work streams are fully embedded into the construction function What do I need to qualify for this role? Relevant educational & professional qualifications Previous experience working in the rail industry in a similar role Strong communication and organising skills in team environments Excellent IT skills (specifically MS Office) The ability to prioritise workload and achieve objectives A high degree of self-direction Demonstratable ability to form effective working relationships Hold full UK driving licence About us We are Siemens.
