Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Insurance Lead Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. No relocation assistance will be provided, candidates must be located within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH to be considered. Position Overview: The primary function of this role is to support the Liability Claims Manager and the Senior Global Risk Manager. The selected candidate will achieve this in several ways. The first is through the administration of key processes that ensure the workers' compensation (WC) claims in the U.S. are reported timely and accurately, and that corporate policies impacting the management of these claims are followed. The selected candidate will also assist with the implementation of corporate-wide WC programs and initiatives. In addition to WC responsibilities, this role will support a number of liability insurance programs and corporate policies, including management of the third party vendors who implement the Driver Safety Program requirements for Eaton's Corporate fleet in the U.S. and Canada, management of the vendor who provides glass repair services for Eaton's Corporate fleet in the U.S., and management of the processes involved in the annual distribution of insurance cards for all Corporate fleet vehicles in the U.S. and Canada. From a global perspective this role will support payments, processes and policies for the Employment Practices Liability Insurance and Foreign Automobile Insurance Programs. The selected candidate will also assist with the data collection, analysis and display associated with the renewals of domestic and global liability insurance programs. In this function you will: Worker’s Compensation related functions: Ensure timely reporting of worker’s compensation claims by reviewing Eaton’s internal system Provide coaching and training of Eaton site personnel on what necessitates the establishment of a WC claim and how to report one Act as a liaison between plant personnel, Corporate HR and Corporate EHS personnel involved in the administration of WC claims Serve as the first point of contact for most WC related questions Maintain up-to-date list of Eaton facility personnel responsible for WC at each location, and ensures that they have proper training on Eaton’s WC policies and procedures Maintain Eaton’s WC SharePoint site Assist with the integration of acquisitions by ensuring new locations are compliant with Eaton-specific policies and their integration into the WC process, e.g., modified return to work (RTW) and coordination of Eaton’s ADAAA RTW policy as it relates to WC claims. Compile the data needed for State Assessments, completes the forms, and issues payments as required by each state Ensure that location/unit codes on all new WC claims are correct and validates such coding in TPA feeds to Eaton’s internal system Oversee the accuracy of NCCI coding by location and state and provides updated information relative to NCCI coding to HR and TPA as needed. Prepare a variety of WC related reports for Global Financial Accounting and the operations, including the monthly WC allocation report and the Net Present Value (NPV) report Liability Insurance related functions: Execute the Driver Safety Program for corporate drivers in North America, including driver safety training, motor vehicle records checks, responding to questions/issues, coordinating activity with Fleet Administration, HR, EHS, drivers, and service providers Coordinate the annual renewal of Eaton’s automobile insurance ID cards for North America Manage the relationship with, and the performance of, the auto glass repair/replacement service provider Administer the internal Riskonnect RMIS System Ensure proper claim reporting to third-party administrators, brokers and insurers Assist with the data collection, analysis and display associated with the renewal of all insurance programs managed by the Senior Global Risk Manager Assist with the collection of data points needed for internal and external audits, including SOX compliance Assist with coordination of payments on Employment Practices Liability Insurance Claims Run, review and analyze a number of reports related to various liability insurance programs Prepare a variety of liability related reports for Global Financial Accounting and other corporate functions, as well as Eaton’s Captive Insurer, including the Quarterly Large Loss report and the Captive Detail Report Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Three years experience in finance, workers' compensation, insurance, risk management or law. Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation assistance will be provided. Candidates must be located within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH to be considered. Preferred qualifications: Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with Power BI, and commercial insurance terms and concepts is a plus Strong analytical, reasoning, organization and problem solving skills. Capable of independent work. Must have strong written, verbal and communication skills, and the ability to make decisions within authority level.
